HULYAS operates the Zeq framework and its network of nodes with privacy as a default, not an afterthought. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Machine & account identity. When you spin up a state machine you create an equation-derived identity (your ZID) and keys. We store what is needed to recognise your machine and keep it yours.
- Usage & compute records. Calls you make and the proof-of-computation envelopes they mint are recorded on your machine's own chain so your work is verifiable.
- Technical data. Basic request metadata (such as IP address and browser type) used to secure the service and apply rate limits.
- Cookies. A single first-party authentication cookie (
zeq_auth_token, scoped to the node you signed in on) keeps you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use it
To operate and secure the service, prevent abuse, enforce fair-use limits, and provide support. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Sharing
We share data only as needed to run the service (for example, infrastructure providers acting on our behalf) or where required by law. Envelopes you choose to publish are, by design, publicly verifiable. Network issuance and pool state are replicated across the mesh nodes; your private rows (envelopes, coins, pages, contracts, files, vault secrets) live on your home node.
Retention & your rights
We keep account and machine data for as long as your machine exists. You can request access to, export of, or deletion of your data by emailing
info@hulyas.org.
Security
Secrets are managed through the framework's key system (ZSC vault, HITE encryption at rest) rather than plaintext configuration, and each machine's data is isolated to that machine. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for least exposure.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new "last updated" date on this page.
